After a year of cake lessons (she is now a licensed Wilton teacher), my friend Divarat completed the superhero wedding cake for our friends wedding!
The two bottom layers are styrofoam. The grooms were so impressed with the top layer, which featured their own comic book art in sugar printing, that they kept it for their anniversary.
“I got advice to always bring a sheet cake, and I’m glad I did!” Divarat said. Everyone at the wedding was impressed with her creation, which included the topper made from polymer clay. “Some people assumed I was a full-time professional pastry chef!”
