Library Passport: @VoorheesvillePL

Voorheesville Public Library

Back in the fall, on an idyllic day that included apple picking at Indian Ladder Farm, I visited Altamont Library and Voorheesville Library.  I made a post for Altamont, but I put aside Voorheesville to do the next week, and then somehow missed that I had not done it!  So without further delay….

When we pulled up we saw that they were having a book sale out in the parking lot (my daughter filled up a bag with books).

My son LOVED that they had a step up to the check out desk. I liked that they had a “return books here” bin to avoid improper shelving.

The whole family enjoyed the “chill” spot.

Beautifully furnished and well-stocked.

A hallway leading to the event room was set up for a changing gallery of art.

The room was big enough to accommodate large events.  I loved the sign they put up, it makes so much sense. It’s actually how I found out I had not made this post, I went looking for a picture of this sign!

…actually, a lot of cool signs and displays.

So, as a way of apology for taking so long, here’s some more greenery for the Voorheesville staff to look forward to.
