I made some things! Two Booknooks. I was going to mail one off to the friend who inspired this all, but she has high vulnerability so that will have to wait for a while.
The first one includes my original bookshelf, with slightly oversized books made from an old paperback. The walls are papered with old book pages. I made a braided rug and glued it to a circle of felt. The light is inserted into the top of the box, but can be changed out when the batteries go.
The second one I think I will keep- it’s made from a Lord of the Rings box, so I put in a map. The chair is sewn out of felt. The smaller books are over foam core instead of paper. The book shelf is made out of craft sticks. The globe is 3D printed and painted. The lights are called “rice lights” and have a battery pack, so I made a small hole and the batteries are outside of the piece.
